I have been up to a lot.
I have been a busy crafter in the past few days, I just haven’t managed to put anything up on Ravelry or here!
Yesterday was a day of spinning, I think I spun around 8oz of fiber!!!
I’m currently halfway through a 206g of falkland merino, coming out nice so far but I have no idea how I am going to fit it onto one bobbin…I am already over halfway full with this currently...

Trying not to buy!

Quickest lace knit ever for me?! I think so.
It’s blocking at the moment, and whilst it did grow a fair bit, I was still a little upset about the size. I would definitely call it a shawlette, not a shawl.
The construction of it does mean that it sits around your neck really comfortably, and is not likely to make you run down the street after it when a big gust of wind comes your way.

The purl rows are KILLING ME! When you have 400+ stitches on the needle and every other row is purling, it’s pretty depressing and it slows me down so much!

Although I have projects on the needles that desperately need to be finished, I am casting on another. Let me go through everything for you so you get an idea:

I skeined it up to measure it.
I got 260 yards/ 237 metres from 102 grams of Corriedale, n-plied.
Some of the joins are a bit dubious, I need to work on them at some point, it doesn’t happen with my spindles!!

Finished.
Just spun up the last of that Corriedale. It was actually approximately 102 grams, so just less than 4oz.
It is definitely the most colourful thing I have ever spun, they are so different. I think this should look really nice when it is done!
