Knitty Delights

Sorry for the silence on the blog.

Things have been rather hectic here recently and quite stressful so I haven’t managed any knitting. I am still working on my Dew Drops shawl with my handspun and plan on trying to get through a bit more of that today. I really don’t have too much more to do.

Leaving London for a few days over my birthday weekend, I don’t really have very much tying me here at the moment, and I just want to get away for a few days. Plus I am not feeling great as a long term health issue is flaring up at the moment, perfect timing for my birthday, thank you body.

So I am off to start packing and heading to Paddington to get a train home. Going to take a load of yarn that needs finishing to a) show my mum b) potentially give her some if she sees anything she particularly likes.

Hadn’t touched my Arsenic and Old Lace shawl for a few weeks but yesterday evening I managed to get a few rows done…hope I can finish this chart repeat this weekend at least.

There are a lack of updates at the moment due to the fact that I have lost internet connection at home currently, and BT are taking their sweet time in trying to fix it. To make matters worse I am also out of data for the next 2 weeks on my phone…mainly due to the idiocy of me trying to watch 2 Knitgirllls episodes back to back…which ate my allowance…lesson learnt!

I caught the Loop! update the other day, and the three bumps arrived yesterday, I am TOTALLY in love with the Sari silk bump, absolutely gorgeous. That was the one that I was least convinced about to be honest and the one that accidentally found its way into my cart!

I have to say I like them all, but the one I am least keen about, suprisingly, in the Tiger’s Eye which looked phenomenal in the picture, but that I wasn’t particularly amazed with when I saw it in real life. I’m going to let it sit for a while because I think it might be because I just feel so hard for the other colours or my Toffee bump hard similar colours…
